Questions we get asked
What does a procurement consultancy actually do?
Three things, in order. It establishes where your money goes and where the leakage is, it designs the sourcing and supplier strategy to close that gap, and it runs the work alongside your team until the savings appear in the budget. A consultancy that stops at the second step is selling you a document.
How do we know which service we need?
Most engagements start with spend analysis or a maturity assessment, because both tell you where the gap actually is rather than where it is assumed to be. The free five-minute diagnostic gives you a scored view with no obligation, and it regularly redirects clients away from the service they came in asking for.
What is the difference between your advisory and execution services?
Advisory decides what to do: the diagnostic, the strategy, the roadmap and the governance around it. Execution does it: running the tender, negotiating the contract, onboarding the supplier, training the team. Most clients need both, and buying only the first is the common way procurement programmes stall.
How long is a typical engagement?
Eight to twelve weeks for a diagnostic and roadmap. Six to eight weeks for a spend baseline. Three to six months for a technology implementation. Category and supplier programmes run longer because they follow your contract calendar rather than ours.
Do you work with government entities?
Yes. We have run procurement for government bodies and Fortune 500s in the Gulf since 2012, including the Central Bank of the UAE and the UAE Ministry of Finance, and we work within your procurement regulations and the documentation standards your audit function expects.
Where do you operate?
From Dubai, across the GCC. The question library, benchmarks and sector overlays in our assessment tools are built for the region rather than adapted to it, including in-country value and vendor pre-qualification, and we deliver in English and Arabic.
Where to start
Run the free procurement maturity diagnostic for a scored view of where the gaps are, or talk to a consultant about this specific problem. Both take less time than a meeting about having a meeting.
