Why we built them
A maturity assessment usually means a consultant with a spreadsheet, a fortnight of interviews and a score you cannot audit. The finding is only as defensible as the person who wrote it, and repeating it next year means paying for it again.
Capability assessment is worse. Most procurement teams are appraised against generic competency frameworks that were not written for procurement, by managers comparing a buyer and a CPO against the same bar.

The two work together. The maturity assessment tells you where the function is weak; the skills assessment tells you whether that is a process problem or a capability one. Fixing a category management gap with a new process, when the real issue is that nobody has been trained to run one, wastes a year.

Is the maturity diagnostic really free?
The 5-minute diagnostic is free and gives you a scored view with no obligation. The full assessment, with evidence upload, AI scoring against the ISO rubric, peer benchmarking and the board-ready report, is part of a paid engagement.
How is AI scoring auditable?
Every score cites the passage in your own uploaded document that justifies it, with an independent confidence check. You can trace any number back to your policy, page and paragraph. That is the difference between an AI score and a defensible one.
Why ISO 9001 and ISO 20400 specifically?
Because procurement maturity has hundreds of definitions and most of them are vendor-invented. Two international standards mean the score means the same thing in Abu Dhabi as it does in Frankfurt, and your certification body already recognises them.
Does the skills assessment work for a whole team?
Yes, and that is where it earns its keep. Individual reports give each person a development plan; the aggregate shows you where the function is thin, which is usually not where managers expect.
Is my evidence data kept in the region?
Your evidence stays in a single region with no cross-region replication. Regional hosting options can be discussed for enterprise deployments.
